\nDuring this trip you\u2019ll see western Mongolian landscape, snow covered mountains and Khazakh nomads lifestyle. Mount Tavan Bogd ( 5 Holly peaks of Mongolian Altai mountain range ) is almost 2000 km far west from Ulaanbaatar and the mount Khuiten is one of the 5 peaks of Tavan Bogd it is the highest point of Mongolia. 4374m A.S.L & located Mongolia, Russia & China 3 countries border crossing point.
\nYou\u2019ll cross Potanin\u2019s glacier where there are several large crevasses and climb on steep slope ice ( 45\u00b0- 65\u00b0\uf020) and hard snow. You need good enough physical condition, experience to use your equipment for crossing crevasses and ice climbing\u2026
\nTemperature might be \u201305\u00b0 -10\u00b0 C during the night so you need warm sleeping bag. But some times very warm when it is not windy and sunny day and you\u2019ll need sun block cream.

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Arrival at UB and transfer to the hotel, sightseeing of the town & City tour, Visit of some museums, and In the evening concert folklore ( NWT )<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t

Day 2. Ulgii city<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
After breakfast flight to Ulgii city the center of the Bayn-Ulgii province, having lunch then drive to Sogoo river. Over night camping on the way.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t

Day 3. Drive to Tsagaan river & Tavan bogd national<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Continue to drive to Tsagaan river & Tavan bogd national reserves gate. Over night camping.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t

Day 4. Hiking<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
We\u2019ll hike about 5 hours to the base camp place. ( load will carried by camels or horses) Make the base camp. Over night camping<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t

Day 5. Hiking to Malchin peak & climb<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Preparation for the climbing and acclimatization around the base camp or Hiking to Malchin peak & climb on it & to see the view of the all glacier & mountain range then back to the base camp. Over night camping.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t

Day 7. Hiking to the camp<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Hiking to the camp 1, by the side of the Potanin\u2019s glacier then We will cross the glacier through some moraine and where there are several large crevasses. It will take about 6-8 hours, depending of snow condition & make high camp.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t

Day 8. Summit day<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Summit day to the Khuiten peak 4374 m A.S.L it takes about 4 hours to the peak then descend to camp one. Back to the base camp. ( about 3 hours ).<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t
