Day 1. Sum Khokh Burd lake of Dund gobi province (260km)

Arrival Ulaanbaatar by SU563 at 06:15 am. After light breakfast I the city drive to. On the way to the Gobi visit Baga Gazriin Chuluu and the ruins of Sum Khukh Burd Temple surrounded by the lake rich in bird life. Overnight in traditional Mongolian gers at our Middle Gobi camp.

Day 2. Tugrugiin shiree (190km)

Early morning drive to Tugrugiin shiree and the sand dunes famous with its paleontological finding, two dinosaurs (protoceratops and veloceraptor) where found, frozen in a combat position. Picnic lunch. Overnight in tents. (Camels)

Day 3. Khongoryn Els or Singing dunes (170km)

After breakfast we'll drive to Khongoryn Els singing dunes. Packed lunch on the way. Diner and overnight at Gobi discovery ger camp.

Day 4. Sevrei-Huren Khanangyn Mountain Range-Gurvantes district (185km)

After breakfast we'll drive Gurvantes district through the Sevrei mountain range and Khuren Khanangyn mountain famous with its rich wild life. Overnight in tents near by Garvantes district. (Argali, Ibex, Khulan)

Day 5. Bumbyn mountain range-Khermen Tsav (150km)

Drive to Khermen tsav by Bumbyn mountain. Khermen Tsav west of the valley of Gurvantes , is a range of mountains of strange shapes, in rosy red colours, most famous of which is rather phallic. Here you'll have a chance to see black tailed gazelle and Khulan. Diner and overnight in tents.

Day 6. Segs Tsagaan bogd mountain-Shil Mountain (150km)

In the morning continue towards to west to beautiful mount Shil Uul. On the way we'll have our packed lunch by Segs Tsagaan Bogd (2480m) mountain. Diner and overnight in tents.

Day 7. Shine jinst district (160km)

Today's journey to the remote desert steppes cut by chains of mountains. It is domain of gazelles, wild asses (khulan) and wild camels, and its vegetation is scattered with saxual shrubs and thin grasses. Journey will continue through Ekhiin gol, Zuun mod, and Tsagaan khaalgany rashaan oasis. Overnight in tents.

Day 8. Ulaan uzuur-Zarmangyn gobi (170km)

In the morning we'll drive to Zarmangyn gobi, via Ulaan- Uzuur. Dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 9. Altai mountain-Tsogt district (150km)

Drive to Tsogt district which located on the Altai Mountain range. Here you'll see gobi steppes join the Altai mountain chain. Diner and overnight in tents near by Tsogt district.

Day 10. Altai mountain-Tseel district-Khaliun district

Today we'll walk all day through Altai mountain to search and track argali and ibex. Tented night.

Day 11. Altai mountain-Tseel district-Khaliun district (170km)

In the morning we'll start drive to Khaliun district through the Altai mountain. Here we'll get plenty of chance to see and photograph ibex and argali after. Packed lunch at Tseel district. Diner and overnight in tents.

Day 12. Togrog district-Shargyn gobi (150km)

Today we'll travel through Great Shargyn govi natural reserve rich in wild life included some very rare and endangered species living in the reserve, the Asian wild ass, snow leopard, ibex, argali, and Saiga antelope. Tented night in Shargyn gobi.

Day 13. Shargyn gobi

Whole day hiking in Shargyn gobi Natural reserve. Stay overnight at same tented camp.

Day 14. Sharga district-Altai town (190km)

Today we'll turn back to east to Altai town of Gobi-Altai province. Drive through Shargyn gobi check our luck again with wild life in the natural reserve. Stay overnight at local hotel of Altai town.

Day 15. Ulaanbaatar-Hustai National Park

In the morning depart to Altai town airport. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar (13:30hrs) have a lunch and transfer to hotel for short rest. Drive to Khustai Natural reserve in Tov province and after lunch horse riding excursion to see photograph the Prejewalski egus (takhi wild horse). Back to Hustai ger camp, dinner and overnight.

Day 16. Hustain Nuruu Natural Reserve (100km)

After breakfast drive to Hustain Nuruu Natural Reserve 60 km. Further drive to Ongot archeological site with stone figures of Ruan-Ruan Khanate 20 km. Back to Hustai Nuruu camp, dinner and overnight. (Takhi, Siberian red dear).

Day 17. Hustai National Park-Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. After lunch visit Natural history museum, Sukhbaatar square, Zaisan memorial. Diner followed by folklore show. Overnight at the Kharakorum hotel.

Day 18. -Ulaanbaatar

All day free with full board meals reserved. Overnight at Karakorum hotel.

Day 19. Departure

Departure transfer.
