Riding with nomads

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar city and transfer to hotel. Optional tours are available in city area.

Day 2. Amarbayasgalant monastery

After breakfast at the hotel drive to Amarbayasgalant monastery which is located in beautiful valley. Lunch in Darkhan city. Reach the camp in late afternoon. Visit Amarbayasgalant monastery. Dinner and overnight at the ger camp. (BLD)

Day 3. Moilt eco lodge

After breakfast drive to Moilt eco lodge. On the way visit Uran togoo mountain. Packed lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (BLD)

Day 4. Nomadic family visit

Visit local family and involve their daily work. See making Mongolian traditional distilled vodka, cream and butter, dried curd, yogurt. Prepare lunch and eat with nomads. In the afternoon prepare the horses for horse trekking. In the evening see milking the cows. Return back to the lodge and have a dinner and night rest. (BLD)

Day 5. Horse riding

After breakfast begin horse riding for up to 45km. Packed lunch on the way. Ride around Khanui river. Return back to the lodge for dinner and night rest. (BLD)

Day 6. Horse riding

After breakfast begin horse riding for up to 45km. Packed lunch on the way. Ride around Balig river and canyon. On the way see pertoglyps. Return back to the lodge for dinner and night rest. (BLD)

Day 7. Trekking

After breakfast walk to Dulaahan mountain. Cross Khanui river by horse or boat. Continue walk by Khanui river. Here wilderness in amazing. Packed lunch on the way. Cross the river again and visit local family. Afterwards walk down to the lodge. Have dinner stone roasted Mongolian barbeque at canyon of nearest river. Overnight at the lodge. (BLD)

Day 8. Ugii lake

After breakfast at the lodge drive to Ugii lake. Packed lunch on the way. Reach tourist ger camp located on the shore of Ugy lake. Dinner and night rest at the ger camp. (BLD)

Day 9. Ulaanbaatar

Drive to Ulaanbaatar city after breakfast. On the way visit Kharakorum museum and Erdene Zuu monastery. Lunch at the ger camp. Reach the city in late afternoon and transfer to hotel. (BL)
