Mixed trekking in Moilt area

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. Optional day or half day tours are available.

Day 2. Amarbaysgalant monastery

After breakfast drive to Amarbaysgalant monastery. Lunch on the way at Darkhan city. Late afternoon arrive and visit Amarbaysgalant monastery. Overnight at the ger camp. (BLD)

Day 3. Moilt area

After breakfast drive Moilt. On the way visit Uran togoo dead volcano. Arrive at the camp late afternoon. Mongolian traditional archery practice. Dinner and night rest.

Day 4. Nomadic lifestyle

In th morning visit local nomadic family. Here explore daily life of nomad family such as distilling yogurt to produce vodka, making handmade cream, butter, dried curd, making yogurt and get involve preparing traditional lunch. After having lunch with family bring the horses and see how to catch the horses and retraining for riding. Later evening see milking the cows and taste fresh milk. Return back to the lodge for dinner and night rest.

Day 5. Horseback day trip

Begin horseback day trip. Distance is 35km following Hanui and Tsagaan rivers. Backed lunch on the way. Late afternoon return back to the lodge for dinner and night rest. (BLD)

Day 6. Horse riding day

2nd horse riding day begins to the north. Distance also 35km mostly in the mountains. Backed lunch on the way. Late afternoon return back to the lodge for dinner and night rest. In the evening learn how to make rope by dried skin of cattle. (BLD)

Day 7. Trekking day

Today is trekking day. Total 10km walking. Have a lunch with local family. Return back to the lodge for dinner. Dinner will be mongolian traditional stone roasted barbeque. Night rest. (BLD)

Day 8. Ugii lake

After breakfast at the lodge drive to Ugii lake. Packed lunch on the way. Reach tourist ger camp located on the shore of Ugy lake. Dinner and night rest at the ger camp. (BLD)

Day 9. Ulaanbaatar

Drive to Ulaanbaatar city after breakfast. On the way visit Kharakorum museum and Erdene Zuu monastery. Lunch at the ger camp. Reach the city in late afternoon and transfer to hotel. (BL)
