Trekking to Mt.Tsambagarav

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. Optional day trips are available.

Day 2. Flight to Ulgy town

After breakfast drive to airport for the flight to Ulgy town. Upon arrival visit local museum and market. Drive to Tolbo lake located 80km to north from Ulgy town. Tented night on the shore of Tolbo lake. (BLD)

Day 3. Tolbo lake

Begin trekking for 20km following the shore of Tolbo lake. Spend the night at Shumek area. Tented night. (BLD)

Day 4. Sair mountain

Today’s trekking distance is 30km and we reach north side of Sair mountain that top peak can reach 3961m above sea level. Tented night. (BLD)

Day 5. Trekk from Sair Mountain to Tsambagarav

Trekking from Sair Mountain to Tsambagarav (4208m a/s) mountain area for 30km. Spend night in tents. (BLD)

Day 6. Tsambagarav mountain

Further trekking towards up to Tsambagarav mountain for 15km. Tented night. (BLD)

Day 7. Trekk to Khatuu area

Trekking to Khatuu area. After 30km walk we meet our drivers and continue driving for 20km to Khatuu. Tented night. (BLD)

Day 8. Drive to Ulgy town

Drive to Ulgy town for the flight to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. (B)

Day 9. Departure

Transfer to airport.
